This banner came straight out of the Sac City Iowa Knights Templar/Eastern Star lodge. It sat in the same space for over 100 years. The lodge itself was built around 1860-1870. Based on the silk and metal trim, we believe this banner is from 1880-1890 and the gold details are still brilliant.
