This Halloween, on the 100th anniversary of Harry Houdini's death, we invite you to an intimate, two-hour séance experience. It will be an elegant evening of history, intrigue, and communication with the beyond.

✦

Your host, Jacob Mayfield, will welcome you with the story of Houdini's remarkable life and lasting legacy. All while you enjoy hors d'oeuvres and your choice of prosecco or a non-alcoholic refreshment.

Vintage poster advertising Houdini as Europe's sensation and the world's handcuff king and prison breaker, featuring a man in shackles surrounded by images of hands in restraints, with text emphasizing Houdini's escape skills and the quote 'Nothing on Earth Can Hold Houdini a Prisoner'.

The evening unfolds:

  • A personal one-card tarot reading to attune you to the night's energy.

  • Use of a handmade mahogany spirit board.

  • A guided séance in Houdini's memory, using genuine spiritualist tools. A spirit trumpet, a large crystal ball, a tambourine, and much more.

  • A pendulum crafted from a real handcuff key.

Spend Halloween surrounded by the haunting beauty of Sideshow Gallery’s New Orleans-inspired space.

Every guest takes home:

  • A miniature commemorative wooden planchette marking the centennial

  • The handcuff key pendulum, yours to keep

  • A souvenir program detailing the evening and Houdini's history
