Are your natural specimens ethically sourced?

Our taxidermy collection is carefully sourced from reputable suppliers, established collectors, vintage estates, and with respect to vulture culture practices. Many of our specimens are acquired through auction lots. In addition, we offer a unique range of faux and vegan “taxidermy,” crafted from clay, resin, felt, and other artistic materials.

Are children allowed at events?

All minors must be accompanied by a parent while visiting Sideshow Gallery. As our collection is adult-focused, we kindly ask that all visitors honor the space as a place of spiritual significance for many who shop here.

Do you ship out of the country?

Currently we do not ship outside of the USA.

Do you have parking?

Yes, there is non-permit street parking available around our shop. If you’re traveling with public transit, we are a short walking distance from the Western Blueline, 49 Western bus stop, and the 74 Fullerton bus.

Are you a witch?

All of us at Sideshow Gallery embrace a wide range of personal practices—some of us identify as witches, others as feminists, artists, or spiritual practitioners. We believe empowerment comes from defining your own path, whatever label feels right for you. Together, we cultivate a safe and welcoming space where wisdom can be shared and all spiritual and religious practices are honored.

Where do you find all this cool stuff?

Sourcing unique treasures for the shop has been a lifelong passion, supported by our dedicated team of treasure hunters. We value cultivating lasting relationships with artists and vendors, as building a strong sense of community is at the heart of what we do. Alongside this, we are passionate antique collectors, often seeking rare pieces through private auctions.

Do you buy items or collections?

Yes! If you have any interesting collections or items that would fit our space, we would love to buy them from you! Please email us at sideshowgallerychicago@gmail.com with photos and a description of the pieces you would like to sell.
