Join us at Sideshow Gallery on August 20th from 7–9pm for our Sirens workshop with our very own Greek Siren & shop manager, Amalia. In this workshop, we'll explore how the Siren evolved from her origins in Greek mythology into the seductive femme fatale of modern myths, and why both versions continue to captivate us. Though their appearances and stories differ, each reveals a profound relationship with shadow, desire, and feminine power.
We'll examine the Siren as an archetype of dark feminine energy, not as something inherently evil, but as the unapologetic expression of magnetism, boundaries, instinct, and mystery. We'll discuss how seduction extends far beyond sexuality, becoming a force of influence and authenticity. Through mythology & symbolism, students will discover how the Siren invites us to reclaim the parts of ourselves we've been taught to fear: our voice, our desire, our intuition, and our capacity to command attention without apology.
Students will be guided to do a candle magic spell centered on embodying the Siren within. Through guided reflection & meditation, we will focus on personal intention for confidence, self-expression, attraction, or empowerment.
This class is an invitation to meet the Siren not as a villain, but as a mirror—revealing the transformative power that emerges when we embrace our shadows with intention and integrity.
