Join Amalia at Sideshow Gallery on March 19th from 7-9pm as we prepare to celebrate this year’s Spring Equinox! As Persephone rises from the Underworld, the world exhales and spring is born. This workshop is a sacred honoring of her return—a celebration of renewal, balance, and the quiet power of becoming.
Explore Persephone’s myth as a living story: one of descent, devotion, sovereignty, and rebirth. Through storytelling, reflection, and ritual, we will witness how Persephone’s journey mirrors our own cycles of darkness and light, and how her return can inspire us to gently shed the old and welcome what is ready to grow.
Together we will sip pomegranate juice in sacred remembrance, respond to guided journal prompts, and work an intentional candle spell for renewal and clarity. Students will participate in a creative activity, forming metaphorical seeds of intention to carry their desires into the coming season. The workshop will close with a guided meditation to meet Persephone as she emerges—queen, maiden, and explorer between worlds.
