Join us Thursday, January 29th from 7-8pm for our book club where we will discuss Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. Pachinko is a historical fiction novel by Min Jin Lee that follows four generations of a Korean family who immigrate to Japan in the early 1900s. The book explores themes of love, sacrifice, family, and identity, while depicting the discrimination, prejudice, and hardship the family endures as outsiders in Japan, from the Japanese colonial period to the late 1980s.
